We're ready! Tomorrow is the day!

Today saw us completing all the work for tomorrow's RAISING. Yesterday was an awesome work day, with chips falling everywhere, and today was no exception. The anticipation of completing everything for tomorrow was in the air. Finish was applied...peg holes were drilled...the last of the mortises and tenons were cut...splines and wedges were completed...decorative chamfering was finished...the carving was done...metal plates were made for the posts...a short birthday party (complete with cakes) was held for Fritz Hinrichs...one truck load of materials was delivered to the Museum before lunch...special Timber Frame shirts were distributed. In the push to complete everything, we even had a belt sander and jig saw being used. The clean-up crew hard at work sweeping up sawdust.

Everything is ready. We'll all meet at the Museum at 8:00 tomorrow morning. Bring your hard hat if you have one...Chris has a few available...and be ready for a great experience.
