Certificate/AA Degree A certificate is awarded upon completion of the "core" classes which are specific woodworking and related classes. An Associate of Arts (AA) degree program includes the "core" classes plus a complete curriculum of general education liberal arts. A student receiving an AA degree would graduate with a major in one of the three CFT areas. Community Workshops The Cabinet and Furniture Technology department offers many short-term, specialty courses. These community service courses are designed to explore a single subject in-depth and in a short amount of time. While some classes target the woodworking professional, most of these subjects will be of interest to all woodworking enthusiasts. These classes will be offered mainly on weekends. The instructors are very talented and well-known in their fields. For a list of the workshops see the Class List page. |
