Class Projects
This popular class will be making performing circus seals, helicopters, cell phones, games and puzzles, stilts, doll beds, grasshopper push toys and more. Use your skills to make a child happy. Sign up and learn elements of the production process such as: how the process is broken down to work each step in a logical order; how to make many parts of the same kind safely and economically; ensure that all parts are interchangeable with each other. Learn pattern milling, drilling, assembly jigs; hone your skills on the router tables and band saws and the application of various finishes. These all-wood toys are donated to deserving children; each class member selects one toy to take home for their own favorite small person.
