Learn the Secrets of Router Dovetail Jigs

This workshop is designed to familiarize you with the various capabilities of the many dovetail fixtures available today. Starting with basic definitions, we will explore the different types of dovetail joints and their uses in woodworking.

Dovetail jigs range in price from $50 to $500 and many of these jigs will be compared and demonstrated in class. Discussion will include jig setup and adjustment, stock preparation, router considerations, and safety issues. Towards the end of the seminar, you will be given some time for hands-on operation as well as have a chance to get one-on-one assistance.
