CFT 143 - Decorative Box Making

Box construction, creating feathers, trays, etc., and applying finish to the box were all parts of our learning. Without hesitation I will recommend the class to others and have done so already." |

| "I enjoyed the class. I've been making chairs for the last two years so this has been a nice change of pace. I enjoyed the smaller scale the boxes had to offer. Boxes at some point become a blend of function and art. I look forward to being able to inlay turquoise, silver or other semi precious materials in to a box. I also think marquetry really enhances the appearance. I plan on taking the marquetry class after completing the veneering class." |
