CFT 97J - Starting a Woodworking Business
Bridging the gap between an exciting hobby and a lucrative business is something that frightens many woodworkers. There are business skills that are unique to woodworking but are sometimes difficult to acquire. In this two-day class, students will explore topics that will help them gain these needed skills. How to set up an efficient shop, how to comply with governmental regulations, how to purchase raw materials, how to market your product, and how to build a good reputation are just a few of the subjects that will be discussed.
Schedule Fall 2012 - Spring 2013
In the Spring of 2013 CFT woodworking will offer one
class only. The main CFT facility will be shut down due to remodeling!
Begining in the Fall of 2013 - CFT will fully re-open in a newly remodeled
state of the art facility.
Note: Not all classes are offered each semester.
