Naoi-san (left), has been bestowed the title of National Living Treasure of Japan. Here, he is leading the work done on the Torri gate gift that the Japanese guests built and assembled during Kezurou-Kai.

Sugimura-san is on the right; he is the founder of Kezurou-Kai. He and his father own a 400-year-old carpentry company.
