Graphic Communications
Developed
here at Palomar College by our ESL staff, the dynamic VESL Graphic Communications
Program offers students who have creative capabilities an entrance to
the exciting new world of graphic design.
Follow this path to one of many certificate programs offered in the
exciting career areas of multimedia such as graphic design, art direction,
or animation. Salaries have a broad range; however, graphic designers
are known to make $25,000-$75,000 annually.
The VESL Graphic Communications Program teaches you the vocabulary of
the graphic artist, and it prepares you for the classes you will need
to complete your career training. Since much of the work is done with
computers and computer programs, you will also have the opportunity
to practice with software commonly used in graphic design.
For more information about the GC classes, visit the Graphic
Communications Department at Palomar College.
