Electronics
The
VESL Electronics program prepares you for one of the excellent certificate
programs through Electronics and Computer Hardware Technology (ECHT)
at Palomar College. You will get hands on experience in troubleshooting
by doing several science experiments. VESL students learn about technology
and safety by building circuits; this includes constructing a real AM/FM
radio.
The job market for people trained in electronics and electronic assembly
is very good and includes technicians, repair, design, and commercial
applications. Entry level electronic technicians can start at $38,000-$40,000.
