  • Fill out the forms so that they are  complete, detailed, and legible.

  • Be sure your proposed class meets the following requirements:
    1.
The subject is appropriate for a community college.
    2.  It is determined that there is a need in the community and a sufficient number of students will take the class.
    3.  The class doesn’t compete with current Community Services classes.

 The Process

  • If you provide an email address on your application, we will notify you that your packet has been received.

  • We review proposals on a semester basis. Our deadlines for printing the Venture catalog varies semester to semester, so it might be several months before a class is actually offered after it has been approved.  We distribute our catalog at the beginning of each of the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

  • You will be called if we approve your class if we have any questions.  Feel free to email or call us at the contact information at the top of the page if you have any questions.  Instructor payment is then discussed.

  • Once a course is approved in our program, it must be approved of by the Governing Board and the course syllabus you have filled out and signed is held in the Office of Instruction.

Again, thank you for your interest!

At times, we post immediate-need instructor opportunities at www.palomar.edu/hr/adjunct.
