REAL
ESTATE
Make a Fortune Purchasing Distressed REO Foreclosure Properties from
Banks
Marshall Reddick Session #7591.209
Saturday 11/19 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
San Marcos Campus - Room P-32
There will be 24,000 REO (Real Estate Owned) properties available in
Southern California this year (about 3,000 per month). REO is a banking term
for properties foreclosed by banks. You can purchase REO’s “as is” to fix
up, or the banks will fix them up for you. REO’s can be found in all
locations. You can get great deals with low down payments and excellent
terms. The loans are easy to qualify for; they require low down payments
(0-30%) and they have terrific interest rates.
After an informative seminar and “no-host” lunch with Dr. Reddick, you will
go on a great tour and see a sample of an REO home, townhome, or condo.
Topics include: how to buy for greatest leverage; how to find REO
foreclosures; how to approach lenders and determine which ones to deal with;
how to determine what price to offer; how to make effective offers before
others know the property is available; how to justify the price you want to
pay; how foreclosures wipe out all liens and other loans; how to get low,
low closing costs. The class lecture is 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. (A no-host lunch
is scheduled from 12:30 - 2:00 pm). The tour will be from 4:00 - 5:00 pm
using your own transportation.

Timing the Real Estate Market
Robert Campbell - Author of
“Timing the Real Estate Market”
Session #7713.201
Saturday, 9/24
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
San Marcos Campus - Room P-32
When it comes to making money in real estate, nothing beats good timing. The
average home in San Diego was worth $155,000 in 1985. It was worth $240,000
five years later in 1990. But if you held onto that home for another five
years, you would find that the price had dropped to $180,000 in 1995. Since
then, the price has risen to $600,000, a gain of over 200%. To know the most
profitable time to buy and sell a home or investment property, Robert
Campbell, author of Timing the Real Estate Market, is going to show you a
break-through method for tracking and predicting real estate trends.
Who should attend this class? Any man or woman who is thinking about buying
or selling a home or investment property in Southern California. Anyone who
wants to know if it’s better to be a buyer or a seller at today’s staggering
price levels. Here’s a small taste of what you will learn: (1) Are we in a
real estate bubble? Are housing prices going to crash? (2) How to “read” the
warning signals that tell you the market is going to rise or fall (3) Five
key trend indicators that have accurately predicted the peaks and valleys of
SoCal real estate cycles for the past 23 years. (4) The four stages of all
real estate cycles. (5) How to identify the “sweet spot” in real estate
cycles – where prices can go full-throttle through the roof. (6) 10 Cardinal
Rules to follow – that guarantee optimal success in real estate. An optional
$20 fee will be collected in class for Robert Campbell’s book Timing the
Real Estate Market.
Optional book may be purchased from the Instructor for $25.
