Apply for Upward
Eligibility
To become a Upward Participant:
Completing an
Application Packet
with copies of all documentation required.
Attending a Final Family Interview
(Selected Students and Parents)
Successfully Complete a Probationary Period
(As determined by Program Director)
Students may be eligible for the Upward Bound Program under the following criteria:
• First-Generation College Student (Neither parent has a bachelor’s degree) and/or
Low Income
(Based on Federal Income Guidelines table at the left)
U.S. Citizen and/or Legal/Permanent Resident
Demonstrated Academic Need as Determined by the UB Program
