Completing an Application Packet with copies of all documentation required.
Attending a Final Family Interview (Selected Students and Parents)
Successfully Complete a Probationary Period (As determined by Program Director)
Students may be eligible for the Upward Bound Program under the following criteria:
• First-Generation College Student (Neither parent has a bachelor’s degree) and/or
-
Low Income (Based on Federal Income Guidelines table at the left)

U.S. Citizen and/or Legal/Permanent Resident

Demonstrated Academic Need as Determined by the UB Program

Recruitment Process
RECIUITMENT 2013
To become an Upward Bound participant, interested students will participate in an intense recruitment process which includes:
Completing an application packet due at Palomar College Escondido.
eding Group Interviews
Attending Final Family Interview
Successfully completing a probationary period of 1 year or as determined by the Director.
