The services provided to TRIO/Student Support Services Program students are designed to increase the college retention and graduation/transfer rates, and to facilitate the process of transition from the community college to a 4-year university of the student's choice.
All TRIO/SSS services are FREE to program participants!!!
- Personal Educational Plans
- Academic, Career, and Transfer Counseling/Advising
- Financial Aid and Scholarship Information and Guidance
- Pell Supplemental Grant Aid Awards (based on eligibility and availability of funds)
- Tutorial Services (by appointment and availability)
- Priority Registration
- Assistance in Admission and Financial Aid for Enrollment in 4-year universities
- University Fee Waivers (based on availability and eligibility)
- Four-year University Campus Tours and presentations
- Cultural Enrichment Activities
- Leadership and Personal Development Workshops and Programs
- Academic Student Success Workshops
- Use of Laptop Computers, Graphing Calculators, and Micro-cassette Recorders
- Use of office equipment (computer, fax, copy machine)
- Academic Survival Kits and Supplies
