| Students may be eligible for the Student Support Services Program under the following criteria: |
- First-Generation College Student (Neither parent has a bachelor's degree) and/or
- Low Income (Based on Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines)
- 30 units or less
- Not currently or formerly in EOPS
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- U.S. Citizen and/or Legal/Permanent Resident
- Enrolled in at Least 12 Units
- Have an academic goal that leads to a 4-year university
- Demonstrated Academic Need as Determined by the TRIO/SSS Program

TRIO MISSION STATEMENT
Through USED Federal grants, we will provide innovative and supportive services and programs for low-income, first-generation, and disabled students, and their parents, while working collaboratively with the Palomar College campus, area schools, universities, and commerce and community organizations.
The TRIO programs staff, students, and educators will ensure accomplishment of the annual grant objectives and participants’ annual student academic and career goals and achievements.
