If you are in need of help in any of your classes, please seek assistance in the tutoring center. Our counselors can fill out a referral form for you so that you are eligible for three 60 minute sessions a week.

Benefits include:

  • One on One help

  • Working at your own pace

  • Assistance tailored to fit your learning style

  • Preparation for test

  • Schedule time for studying and doing homework (Time Management)

Students who are struggling academically are HIGHLY advised to attend tutoring sessions and seek assistance immediately. Please remember that one of your student responsibilities for TRIO/SSS is tp maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.

TRIO MISSION STATEMENT

Through USED Federal grants, we will provide innovative and supportive services and programs for low-income, first-generation, and disabled students, and their parents, while working collaboratively with the Palomar College campus, area schools, universities, and commerce and community organizations.

The TRIO programs staff, students, and educators will ensure accomplishment of the annual grant objectives and participants’ annual student academic and career goals and achievements.
