Toys for Thailand is a voluntary grassroots team of Palomar College associates and community members who provide tangible goods and services for orphaned, abandoned, and refugee children living in remote villages of Thailand.Toys for Thailand is a project of the International Humanities Center, a 501 (c) 3 organization making donations tax deductible.Through an annual humanitarian trip to Thailand, volunteers deliver the basic necessary tools and resources such as instructional supplies, vocational training equipment, food and toys to the schools and orphanages, which house the children.

Toys for Thailand is an attempt to help these tsunami zone children and other abondoned children living in orphanage schools in Thailand. Sasha Bilar, a Thai national (pictured below), believes that recycled toys are a good choice because of the love energy stored there. The first mission trip began soon after the Indian Ocean tsunami struck in December 2004 with Sasha Bilar and Judy Eberhart. In May 2006, Elaine Armstrong and Maria Miller joined the team to deliver toys and monetary donations. In 2007, the team expanded to 10 members from the US and Holland.
