In June 2007 we made our third trip to Thailand and with the generosity of our many donors and Thai sponsors, we delivered 800 pounds of toys, filled and distributed 500 backpacks filled with a school supplies, bought and delivered 5 bicycles. We purchased, delivered and set up a lab with six computers and a LCD protector. We purchased instructional and recreational supplies for various orphanage schools, including sewing machines and culinary tools. Our group arranged two special field trips for the tsunami zone children. We took 100 children (ages 9-14) to dinner and to see FantaSea, a cultural illusion show blending the beauty of Thai culture, exciting stunts, elephant performances and special effects. Toys for Thailand shared a day at the zoo and aquarium with 100 smaller children (ages 5-8). Toys for Thailand provided a special meal for 500 children at the Wat Don Chan Temple School and sponsored one 8 year old boy named Poy providing for his basic needs so he could attend school.
