Dear Maria, Judy, Sasha and Elaine,

Sorry for the late reply. I was invited to Bangkok for the 60th anniversaryof the King. And after I had to prepare a report for the Swedish Queen and King who came three days ago for a week to Phuket. As you know last year they gave us money to buy 100 boats for the Tsunami affected fishermen. So they wanted to see us and we went together with lady Supindato greet them at the airport. They have been very impressed by the work of ChildLine and Poseidon CrusAIDers.

On Saturday 3rd June we invited the 82 orphans of the Yaowawit School and their teachers to Phuket. We visited first the Phuket Aquarium where I could explain them the fishes of their sea. Then they got an ice cream. For most of them it has been the first time that they had ice cream!!!

Then they got their sport shoes which made them very happy. In continuation we took tem to a large library ship that was visiting Phuket for a week. And in the evening we took them to dinner at a beach restaurant. The children returned very tired but also very happy to Kapong.You ladies should have been with us at this day.

The teachers and the children send their best whishes to you and thank all Palomar College donors for their generousity. I also would like to express my appreciation for your donations on behalf of our group. It was really a pleasure to have you on our trips with us. And I hope it was not the last time that we could enjoy your company.

with the Yaowawit School.
