Comments indicate many folks think that Saturday’s 60th Anniversary Celebration Fair was “a wonderful event,” “a great event,” “a huge success,” “a very fun and festive day,” “a tremendous hit,” “lots of fun,” “particularly exciting,” “a pleasant experience,” and so on. I agree it was great in numerous respects – showcasing of the college; broad participation of the college; participation of students; potential recruitment of students; gathering of many alumni; building of appreciation of the college among the general public; the turnout (600 to 1,000, probably 700); fun and entertaining activities; and, fortunately, great weather. The Dome was packed, the parking lot full for a while, and the food ran out.

There are many people who should be acknowledged and thanked for roles played in the planning, organizing, arranging, implementing, and participating. On behalf of the 60th Anniversary Committee, I will try to do so here, at the risk of unintentionally forgetting someone.
