Electrical Power Shutdown!!

SDG&E Power Outage

We are scheduling an electrical power outage on Thursday, September 4th starting at 11:00 pm that may extend to 7:00 am Friday morning.  All electrical power should be back on for the Friday morning 7:00 am classes.  

Information Services will start shutting down the computer servers at approximately 10:00 pm and should have them back on line by approximately 8:00 am Friday morning. 

 Academic Technology will shut down the Blackboard system and the District web servers (www.palomar.edu and faculty.palomar.edu) at approximately 9:30 pm.  Blackboard and web services will be back as soon as possible after the power returns on Friday, September 5th, but for planning purposes assume Blackboard will not be available from approximately 9:00 pm on September 4th until 9:00 am on the September 5th.

 If all goes as planned, this will correct all of the electrical problems that we have been having for the past two weeks.
