Want to practice for the Physical Agility Test?

We will be hosting practice sessions prior to the testing date. Applicants may practice different parts of the Physical Agility Test. Academy Staff will be present to assist with techniques in completing the different components of the test. It is strongly recommended that you attend a practice session if you have never completed the P.O.S.T. Physical Agility Test.

Practice Sessions will be held at the Public Safety Training Center on the grinder at 184 Santar Place (where the fire tower is located).

There is no need to sign up or notify us if you plan to attend a practice session - just show up! You may attend a practice session even if you have not yet turned in your application.

The following dates apply specifically to the Palomar College Police Academy Class 23. For maps to the various facilities, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Police Academy Class 23 will begin in January 2014. Applications for Class 23 will be accepted beginning in June 2013.

* Recruits should plan on arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of class.

**Courses may occasionally be conducted on Sunday due to facility availability, etc. Recruits will be notified of any changes in the academy schedule.
