Campus Police Department - Timely Warning Notices

The Palomar College Police Department has received several reports of property thefts from students as well as locker burglaries.  The Police Department would like to issue a warning to students to protect themselves against theft by offering the following suggestions:

*    Do not leave items unattended in classrooms or in general population areas on Campus. 

*    Check work areas before leaving them to make sure you have not left anything behind.

*    Make sure to use a lock and secure the lock when using the locker rooms.

*    When using an outside locker make sure to secure the lock prior to leaving the area.

*    Do not leave items of value or money laying out where others can see them.

*    Be aware of your surroundings.

We would also like to remind the community to:

*    Make sure to lock your vehicle when parking on Campus.

*    Make sure not to leave items of value or money laying out in visible areas inside your vehicle. 

The Palomar College Police Department urges anyone who observes suspicious circumstances to contact the Campus Police at extension 2289.

If you are in need of immediate police or medical assistance, locate the nearest phone or have a nearby person dial 911.
