The Palomar College Police Department is
currently investigating a series of toilet paper
dispenser fires which have occurred on both the
San Marcos Campus, and the Escondido Educational
Center.
These fires occurred on:
Wednesday
11/11/09 @ 1:42 p.m.
in the NO Buildings Men’s Restroom, San
Marcos
Wednesday 11/11/09 @ 5:03
p.m.
in the 100 Men’s Restroom, Escondido
Thursday 11/12/09 @ 1:30
p.m.
in the P Buildings Men’s Restroom, San
Marcos
Monday 11/16/09 @ 4:45 p.m.
in the 100 Men’s Restroom, Escondido
Monday 11/16/09 @ 5:25 p.m.
in the 500 Men’s Restroom, Escondido
All the fires have occurred in restrooms
at this time.
Students, Staff, and Faculty should be
vigilant of any suspicious activity in and
around all restroom areas.
Detailed information such as descriptions
of suspicious persons and exact locations should
be reported
immediately to the Police
Department.

March 24, 2008 The
Palomar College Police Department has received
several reports of property thefts from students
as well as locker burglaries. The Police
Department would like to issue a warning to
students to protect themselves against theft by
offering the following suggestions:
Do not leave items unattended in
classrooms or in general population areas on
Campus.
Check work areas before leaving
them to make sure you have not left anything
behind.
Make sure to use a lock and secure
the lock when using the locker rooms.
When using an outside locker make
sure to secure the lock prior to leaving the
area.
Do not leave items of value or
money laying out where others can see them.
Be aware of your surroundings.
We would also like to
remind the community to:
Make sure to lock your vehicle
when parking on Campus.
Make sure not to leave items of
value or money laying out in visible areas
inside your vehicle.
The Palomar College Police
Department urges anyone who observes suspicious
circumstances to contact the Campus Police at
extension 2289.
If you are in need of immediate police
or medical
assistance, locate the nearest phone or have a
nearby person dial 911.
