Palomar College is currently building a new planetarium.  The old planetarium served us for 43 years but new campus construction forced its closure.  Thanks to funds generated from Proposition M passed by the voters in 2006, we are able to build a new, larger, state-of-the-art planetarium to serve the College and the general public of San Diego.  The grand opening of the new planetarium will occur in early-Spring of 2012.
