ARRIVING ON CAMPUS & PARKING

Please plan adequate travel time so that you can be at the planetarium at least 30 minutes before the show start time.  This will allow time for arrival to the planetarium, announcements to the crowd, and seating arrangements to be worked out before the show begins.  Be aware that parking permits are required at all times on Palomar College.

PARKING ENFORCEMENT IS 24/7 AT PALOMAR COLLEGE

BY BUS - Use the main entrance to the campus (indicated on the map below) on West Mission Road.  The campus police building is located to the left of the entrance to the parking lot.  A campus police officer will be at the walk up window and will instruct the bus driver on where to drop off the children and (if needed) where to park the bus.

BY CARPOOL - Please plan adequate travel time so that you can be on campus at least 45 minutes before the show start time.  This will allow time for parking, arrival to the planetarium, announcements to the crowd and seating arrangements to be worked out before the show begins.  Parking permit enforcement is active at all times at Palomar College.  Please use the one-day parking permits that are provided to your group leader (upon request).  The permit must be displayed on the dashboard of all vehicles parked on campus.  Parking is available in any of the student or staff lots on campus but try to park in Parking Lot #5 (shown on the campus map below) if possible.  Campus parking is difficult on most days and the parking lots fill up fast and are mostly full by show time so come early and be patient!
