April 2010 The bidding for the construction portion of this project has closed. So far this project is within budget. The official ground-breaking ceremony has been scheduled for May 26th. This will officially begin the construction phase of this exciting new project. February 3rd, 2010 Today the California Division of the State Architect stamped out the design plans for the new planetarium. This clears the way for this project to head forward to the bidding process. Palomar College Governing Board approval to go out for bid will be requested at the February Governing Board meeting. This is a milestone for this project... I am getting excited as construction is looming on the horizon! |
