Mary Ellen King

BIO
Hi!
I’m Mary Ellen King. I work for Riverside Office of Education (RCOE) as a sign language interpreter at the high school level. I have worked for RCOE for ten years starting in a sub position. I’m was hire into my interpreting position 9 years ago at the elementary level, working with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, until this last fall when I moved to a more challenging position at the high school(gotta love those teen-agers, right!). I’m lovin’ it!
I am presently attending Riverside Community College with 2 classes to go to complete my liberal studies AA before transferring to Cal. State San Bernardino in the spring of 2005, where I will complete my BA in moderate to severe handicap education. My hope is to obtain a D/HH degree in the near future. I teach the 11th grade religious education Confirmation class at my church.
In my free time (ha,ha,ha) I like to read, crochet, cross-stitch, go to the beach and spend time with my family (both my own children and the massive family I was raised in).
