Bio for Kimberley Kearney

I have an A.S. degree in Early Childhood Studies, along with two certificates, one is in Child Development different core subjects as above, and another is in Children with Special Needs.  I will be receiving my Child Development Permit at the Master Teacher level at the end of this fall semester.  Now I’m in the Pines program where I will do my best to become a skilled interpreter, and my ultimate goal is to transfer to a state university for my teaching credential, and on to a DHH program so I can be a teacher for children that are deaf at the Preschool or Kindergarten level.

I have a successful Family daycare where I have taught private preschool for 17 years.  For the past 3 years, while the kids are at school I work in the preschool class for Deaf and Hard of hearing (as an education interpreter in progress).

I have been married for almost seven years to a wonderful younger Godly man and have three great children.  Brant my son is 28 years old; Kasey my daughter is 17 years old.  And a newly adopted daughter named Olivia who is now 8 years old.  In my spare time I’m a taxi to dance classes, and I am a groupie for my husband’s Hard Rock Christian Band.  I have lots of animals, and hoping for a horse when I have spare time.
