Gabrielle Anicete

A.S.L is such a beautiful language to me!
I see Sign language as a moveable painting;
Fluid, transforming, and creative
I love any form of the Arts: Music, Dance, Poetry, Painting
Even nature, art in its purest form
I feel that both the Arts and ASL, connect people,
Unites us and gives depth and understanding to our existence
I am a people person, a communicator, a dreamer, an optimist
And I find joy in living a life that is always changing
I am currently interpreting in a public high school in the San Francisco area
I have completed the Vista College ASL program
I enjoy creating children stories and music
And would like to develop educational CD’s
Utilizing ASL and all of the art forms
With a collaboration of different people
I compose music, write poetry, paint, and draw
I’m so happy to be involved in this Pines program and look forward
To watching my self and my class mates grow and unfold.
