Angela Benson’s Bio

 

     Angela started learning ASL in 1983 at Sacramento State University.  She has worked as a one-on-one interpreter for the past six years.  Currently, Angela works at an Elementary School.  Prior to becoming an ASL interpreter, she was a Resource Specialist, has taught Phonics and Fluency Reading, and was a Baker/ Cake Decorator for five years. Angela also paints murals in people’s homes and local businesses.  She has been a professional photographer for 20 years.  Her hobbies are camping, music, cooking, spending time with family and friends, hiking with her dog, and any outdoor activity.
