Biography

 

 

Carolina Madrigal

 

Carolina has been working as an interpreter for 7 years at Sunflower Elementary School in El Centro CA. She studied Sign Language at Imperial Valley College. She is currently enrolled in the Program for Interpreters in Educational Settings (PInES).

 

Originally from Mexico, She studied architecture for 2 years at the University of Baja California in Mexico. Her primary focus at Sunflower Elementary School is interpreting for children Preschool to first grade. At Sunflower, she tutors these students in Sign Language, English, Spanish and a combination thereof. Carolina is bilingual; her bilingualism aids her in interpreting from both English and Spanish. She devotes most of her time to raising her two children.
