Annette Miner

I have been signing for about 36 years, since my parents are both Deaf, and American Sign Language is the language we used in our household.  I have been interpreting professionally for about 18 years, in all types of settings, but mostly in educational settings.  I obtained a Master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree from Western Michigan University, and am currently working on a doctoral degree in Educational Technology.  I taught ASL and interpreting at Salt Lake Community College in Utah for 8 years, and now work as the director of the Program for Interpreters in Educational Settings (PInES) at Palomar College in San Diego.  I love to play golf, mountain bike and try new food.
