CLASS OFFERINGS

ACTING: Four levels of Acting Technique from beginning through intermediate are offered, as well as improvisation and an intensive acting lab.

ENTERTAINMENT TECHNOLOGY/TECHNICAL THEATRE: Choose from a full range of practical classes in theatre production and design including a certificate program for the pre-professional.

GENERAL EDUCATION: Introduction and History classes are fun, interactive and challenging—a great way to earn your humanities requirement or just enrich your knowledge of the art and craft of theatre.

PRODUCTIONS: Anyone can audition for our theatre productions and receive college credit if cast in the show. Experienced students often receive opportunities to design for our main stage shows.

NEXT GENERATION: Palomar Performing Arts is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of theatre artists. To this end, a sequence of classes is offered. Playwriting in the fall shifts to creative theatre ensemble in the spring and fully- produced student directed and/or written works in the summer.

FACULTY: The exciting mix of Palomar’s full- time theatre faculty is augmented on a part-time basis by some of San Diego County’s most accomplished theatre professionals.
