Funded in part through Meet The Composers MetLife Creative Connections program. FEBRUARY 7 MARK DRESSER A world class contrabassist in our midst? Right here. The UCSD faculty member and international recording artist cues up a stunning "solo bass" performance. FEBRUARY 14 ANN CHASE It's Valentine's Day! Soprano/pianist Ann Chase performs love songs for a mad, mad world. FEBRUARY 21 SUNHEE PARK PIANO ENSEMBLE Four South Korean pianists perform a series of duets and a waltz for "eight hands". Music from Mozart, Brahms and the opera Faust. FEBRUARY 28 FLAMENCO! Explore the world of flamenco guitar with recording artist Chris Burton Jacome and dance Lena Jacome as they return the passion and grace of this fiery Spanish art form to the Concert Hour stage.

MARCH 13 CHAMBER MUSIC FOR CELLO AND PIANO Featured are Astor Piazzolla's Le Grand Tango and Sergei Rachmaninov's Sonata for Violoncello and Piano in G minor, Opus 19. Erica Erenyi, violoncello; Emily Helvey, piano.
MARCH 20 MASAYO AND ROBERT Masayo Norikura (Japanese and Bass Koto) and Robert Williams and Robert Williams (flute, shakuhachi, wind synth) link traditional Japanese composition with modern technology. APRIL 3 COLIN McALLISTER Guitarist Colin McAllister showcases recent reworkings of Medieval and Renaissance materials, including a piece for 11-string alto guitar and Nocturnal by Benjamin Britten. APRIL 10 PALOMAR CHAMBER SINGERS, directed by David Chase PALOMAR WOMEN'S CHORUS, directed by Karen Bryan APRIL 17 FINC (Faculty Improvisers of North County) Palomar instructors and staffers Ellen Weller, Madelyn Byrne, Randy Hoffman and Gunnar Biggs are joined by William Bradbury (CSUSM) and Christy Coobatis (MiraCosta College) for a round of freewheeling improvisation.
