Licensing Information
Video Course License

A video course license allows educational institutions to use Palomar College video lessons as part of a college credit course. Palomar allows licensed institutions duplication and distribution rights of DVDs and tapes for use by students who are enrolled in the course. Digitized versions of the video programs may be streamed via the Internet and/or stored and distributed for video-on-demand (VOD) playback to be used for courses offered online. Streaming files are available for a one-time fee of $100 for the term of the license.

Audiovisual Resource License

An audiovisual license gives an institution a preferential rate for retaining one copy of the video lessons on DVD format for placement in a library or learning resource center for the life of the course; OR your institution might consider using the video lessons as: an audiovisual resource for classroom lectures.

General Programming License

The video series listed in our catalog can be licensed for general programming on broadcast or cable television. Please contact us for information and price quotations for specific markets at .

How to License Video Series:
  1. Contact a PCTV representative to request a license at or call 760-744-1150 ext. 2431.
  2. Once a license is in place, licensee is eligible to purchase course programs for duplication and/or broadcast.
  3. Fees include license fees and enrollment fees. License fees are invoiced upon signing of the agreement. Enrollment fees are due and payable during each licensed academic term. Streaming files are available for a one-time fee of $100 for the term of the license.
