How to Access Your Course Outline

Blackboard is an online course management system used at Palomar College. With Blackboard, instructors can create and deliver online course material, manage discussion groups and chat rooms, and administer on-line tests. You can view your courses at any time and from any computer with an internet connection and a web browser.

On the Friday just before the semester begins students may access their course outline, course documents, announcements and instructor contact information online in Blackboard at: http://www.palomar.edu/blackboard

Students: To access your online class, click the Login button at the top left and follow the instructions to log in. Your username is your nine-digit Palomar student ID number and your password is whatever you have set it to in eServices. If you have not set your password in eServices, or if you are having trouble logging in, try following these instructions to set your password in eServices.

If you are trying to access your classes before the semester begins, it may say that you are currently not enrolled in any classes. Don’t worry, it will say you are not currently enrolled until the instructor has made the class available for you to see. Most classes are not available until the Friday before the semester begins.

If you are unable to access your course information, call the Educational TV office at 760-744-1150, ext. 2431.
