PCTV has been in operation for more than thirty-five years, setting a tradition of excellence for video production and distance learning at Palomar College. PCTV is a vital resource for Palomar faculty, students, staff, and the North County community. The department has won numerous national awards and is regarded as a leader in the distance education arena.
The Palomar PCTV cable channel operates seven days a week year round. Today, Palomar College has the only post-secondary facility in San Diego that provides original programming and credit instruction. The department delivers over 4,200 hours of quality educational cable programming annually.
