Essentials of Oceanography, 10th Edition
The 10th Edition of Essentials of Oceanography

Essentials of Oceanography
10th Edition recently received a prestigious 2012 "Texty"
textbook excellence award. The
Text and Academic Authors
Association (TAA), which grants the award, recognizes
printed works for their excellence in
the areas of content, presentation, appeal, and teachability. The publisher,
Pearson Education, nominated the book for the award and the textbook was
critically reviewed by a panel of expert judges. The award will be presented in
June at an award ceremony luncheon during TAA’s annual
conference. |
Laboratory and Field Exercises in Oceanography, 7th
edition
This lab manual is a workbook
specifically designed by our instructors for in-class and field
exercises that are part of the oceanography program at Palomar
College. Besides the actual activities, the lab manual has
directions to field trip locations, restroom availability, and other
helpful information. The book is
