Thirty to thirty six students are admitted each fall and spring semester for the Day Section of the Basic Program.
Twenty students were admitted in Fall 2008 to the Evening/Weekend Section of the Basic Program.
LVNs are admitted on a space available basis. All remaining students are placed on a wait list.  Check your
current placement below using the "Wait-List Number" assigned to you.

Reminder:  Failure to be able to contact students on the wait list will result in removal from the wait list.
Please advise the Nursing Department when you have a change in address, phone or email.  

Students are not required to be enrolled at Palomar College to remain on the wait-list; however, students are
encouraged to meet with their college counselor (Elvia Nunez ext. 2179) to determine how enrollment affects graduation
requirements or financial aid eligibility.  If students wish to take classes and/or improve skills in preparation for entry,
the following courses are highly recommended:

Depending on funding,  30-36 students are admitted each Fall and Spring Semester. We anticipate bringing in a cohort of at least 20 students to the E/W (Option II) section in Fall 2010. It should be noted that the schedule for the Option II section can include day hours and the schedule for the Day Section (Option I) can include evening hours. The E/W (Option II) section is always contingent on the availability of funding, faculty and clinical facilities.

Students have been accepted for Spring 2010.  As students decline or defer their space additional students will be accepted for Spring 2010.
