Evening/Weekend Section of the Nursing Program - renamed in Fall 2010
 

We are very pleased to announce that in fall 2010, Palomar College will hopefully be admitting another cohort of  students into the what was previously called the evening/weekend program. Effective Fall 2010, this option will be referred to as Option II and the "Day Section" will be referred to as Option I. The reason for the name change is due to the fact that the classes for either option may meet in the day, afternoon or early evening.  It is possible that clinicals can be on the weekend or during the week. Both options will be identical to our current day program, covering the same material and requiring the same full time commitment. Students will be required to spend time when outside of class working in the campus lab and the library as necessary.  It should be noted that the schedule for this option does sometimes include day hours.

Acceptance letters for Fall 2010  will be sent out in early March. If students decline we will continue down the wait list until we have a full Option I and Option II cohort.  Please realize that once a student has entered Option I or Option II they may not change their option. 

Please note: Continuation of the Evening Weekend Section is always dependent on faculty, funding and facilities.
