Prerequisites for the
Palomar Nursing program can be taken at other schools. The Science
prerequisites must be no less than 4 semester units each, include a lab component
and be taken at an accredited
college. If Anatomy and Physiology is a combined course then two semesters
must be completed (A&P I and A&P II). Approval of content by the Department does not exempt the 2.5
GPA requirement or the time line restriction. When in doubt, please
