NCN is produced by Palomar
College advanced TV News Journalism students. It allows them
the opportunity to gain real world experience producing a
professional broadcast quality program while serving the
community at the same time.
The program is a half hour
weekly newsmagazine program cablecast to over 350,000 homes
in North San Diego County. It is aired on
Cox channel
16,
Time warner channel 16 and
KOCT Oceanside channels
18 and 19.
The program airs at 7 pm Saturday evenings.
NCN highlights the people,
lifestyles, events and news headlines of North County. The
show originates each week from an N.C. landmark which
reflects the lifestyle of our viewers. The purpose is to
bring the audience to a unique location so they are better
informed.
