Palomar College's Multicultural Studies Department (MCS) is proud to sponsor its monthly event 'Cine Club 2008'. In its third year the Monthly Cine Club will be screening exciting and award winning Latino films. This March, the locally filmed and recently released award winning independent film Ofrenda Desnuda (Bare Offering) will be screened as part of our series.   

The video drama narrates the experiences of a Mexican immigrant in the Tijuana / San Diego border region. The main character faces problems of border crossings that range from robbers to the border crisis. This story has adventures, passion, love, madness, murder, and is a tribute to the tradition of the Day of the Dead.
