Workstation #25 is connected to the overhead projector.Whatever is displayed on the screen on workstation #25 will be
projected onto the screen by the data projector.
To
turn on the overhead projector:
Unlock
the cabinet on the west wall of the lab. Authorized users can obtain
the combination to the padlock from the Division Office. Turn on the
power to the projector and to workstation 25.
Using
the stick, remove the lens cover on the projector.
The stick is stored in the cabinet where the power switches are located.
When
the power is on, you will see an amber colored light on the bottom of the
projector.This indicates the
projector is in ‘standby’ mode.
Aim
the remote control at the projector and press the “STANDBY/ON” button.The amber colored light will change to green indicating the projector
is ready.The remote control
for the projector is stored in the cabinet where the power switches are
located.
To
turn off the overhead projector:
Aim the remote control at the projector and press the “STANDBY/ON”
button. The green colored light will change to amber.
Be sure to turn off the projector and replace the lens cover when you are
through.
Please return the stick and projector to the cabinet.
In the interest of energy conservation, please shut down all the computers
and switch the power off if you are the last person scheduled to use the lab
for the day.
