Library and Information Technology Scholarships

Agnes Hammond Memorial Scholarship for Library Technology
Palomar College offers two or more library related scholarships annually.

Current students or graduates of the Palomar College Library & Information Technology (LIT) Program are eligible to apply. Two scholarships may be awarded each year: one for a student who will be continuing LIT studies at Palomar, and one for a graduate of the program (or someone who is graduating this year) who will be enrolled in a Master's library program during the next academic year. Complete scholarship description and criteria, including this year's award amounts, are available at http://www2.palomar.edu/pages/fa/files/2013/04/SCHOLARSHIP-BOOKLET-2013.pdf.

Applicants must apply through their student eServices account (for graduates who do not have a current eServices account, contact the Palomar College Financial Aid Office at finaid@palomar.edu). Once logged into your account, go to the Student Center screen, and scroll down to the "My Finances and Financial Assistance" section. From there, select "Apply for Scholarships."

More information about the general scholarship application process may be found at http://www2.palomar.edu/pages/fa/frequently-asked-questions/. Additional questions about this scholarship may be addressed to Linda Morrow, Chair of the Library & Information Technology Program.
