How To Achieve Information Competency (IC)?
- Provide students with meaningful activities that require locating, retrieving,
evaluating and using information.
- Consider the library as an extension of the classroom.
- Use teaching strategies that require students to become active learners.
- Make assignments that require the use of resources outside the classroom.
- Evaluate students on their information competency skills.
