Locating Books/Introduction
Introduction |
Online Catalog | Call Numbers | Library of Congress Classification System | Catalog Searching Tips |
To find a book in the Palomar College Library, you need to know at least two things: its call number and its location. Call numbers follow the rules of the Library of Congress Classification System and will include both letters and numbers.
Locations in the Palomar College Library include: Stacks, the third floor; Esc Ctr, Escondido Center; Ref, Second floor Reference; LRC, First floor-Learning Resource Center.
If you know the call number and location, just go to the appropriate floor of the library.
To find out whether or not
the Library owns a book and to find out its call number, you will need to use the online
catalog also called WebCat.
