Films On Demand offers over 6,000 current, education streaming videos covering a variety of disciplines and subjects. Users can create personal playlists incorporating full-length videos or segments, and embed segments into courseware such as Blackboard. (NOTE: embedded videos only work with flash technology at this time, and will not work with Windows Media or Quicktime.) Some videos include interactive transcripts. NBC Learn includes thousands of videos, historic newsreels, primary source documents, and photographs from the NBC Archives going back to the beginning of film and television, as well as original resources, in a variety of disciplines and subjects.
Primary Search provides full text for popular,
magazines for elementary school research. All full text
articles included in the database are assigned a reading
level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information
dates as far back as 1990.
