Librarian Subject Specialties 2008/09 Developing a useful
and relevant collection of books, periodicals, videos, CDs, CD ROMs, web site
links, online databases, and other resources needed to support the activities
of Faculty and students is an important function of the Palomar College
Library/Media Center. Through
experience and education, each of the Librarians possesses knowledge of the
tools, techniques, and issues involved in identifying resources in various
subject areas. Faculty are encouraged to contact the librarians for ideas,
suggestions, or with requests for developing the Library's print, non-print,
and electronic collection of information. |
