Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin, has been developing its assessment program since 1995. Their excellent Web page displays the core abilities, explains the assessment process, and provides samples of the forms used to document and provide feedback on student work. Cascadia Community College. A new college in Bothell, Washington, Cascadia is pioneering an outcomes-based approach to curriculum. As of March 2001 the details of their outcomes assessment process are not posted on their Web page, but they promise to have more information up soon. Sponsored by The National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, this "report card" gives interesting comparative information on how the states are performing. While the whole report isn't on the Web, the design of the report and the examples offered are interesting and instructive.
